Time for the final discussion post! Regardless of where you are in your project, consider checking in to let us and everyone else involved in BtP know how you’re doing! You might inspire or encourage another group :D

Some prompt questions for you to think about:

• Have you run into any technical or other brickspace obstacles? How have they affected the project?
• If you haven't recorded yet, how do you plan to do it? What topics do you plan on covering?
• If you have recorded, how did you record? How did what you had in mind for the interview translate into conversation?
• Have the topics and/or scope of the interview changed from your initial ideas?
• If you haven't edited yet, how do you plan on organizing editing?
• If you have edited, how is it going? Any changes from your original editing plans?
• Is there any feedback you’d like to give us at this point, or anything we can do to help you out?

Checking in! After further technical difficulties, Cain and I recorded AGAIN. On the plus side, we refocused and were both happy with this interview. I've finished editing! How do you want it submitted? (If you want to move up our posting date we're cool with that.) Our new, refocused topic is More Experience and Fresher Face discuss differences in the fandom. It is still pretty general chatting through.

Episode #2 is open, which has a submission date of 13 October to publish on the 27, but moving your publication date is entirely optional.

We'll take your submission by email, and we'll send you details about how to do that in the week before your submission date. We outlined what we'll need you to send us in the mandatory check-in email, so that you have an idea.

Let us know if you want to hang on to Episode #5 or if you'd like to move up to Episode #2.

checking in! we've recorded our episode and i'm in the very early stages of editing.

we recorded over discord voice chat, which ofjustimagine had never used before so we had some technical difficulties, but it worked out really well in terms of audio/call quality. ofjustimagine made a list of a bunch of things we could talk about, grouped loosely into categories, and we did talk about a bunch of them but we ended up veering off topic a few times - though it wasn't really off topic, given that we didn't have a very strict idea of what the topic was? it was a super interesting conversation so that's all that matters ahaha.

re editing, i think it's gonna be pretty minimal? right now i'm cutting out a lot of "uh huh"s and "mmhmm"s from my side, i hadn't realised how much i do that. other than that, it'll probably just be cutting out some pauses? i haven't listened all the way through which i think i should do to get a better idea of what the finished project should sound like, but i'm feeling really self-conscious about listening to myself. it's similar to how i felt when i first started making podfic, which i've got over now, but it's probably because the content is different - my own words rather than reading someone else's. but i'm excited to have a final product even if i might have to cover my face while listening!! i'll have to do a full listen to do the transcript, at least.

anyway that was quite long winded. tldr, all going well, don't anticipate any issues, thanks so much for hosting this thing it's been so much fun.
