Mandatory check-in & discussion post 2

It’s check-in time! If you are signed up to make an Episode, you’ll have received an email from us. Please respond before Saturday 27th March if you are still participating in BtP. Groups who don’t reply will be moved to the Party Favour schedule (see link to Party Favour rules at the end of this post for more details).

Now, on to the non-mandatory discussion! You can check in less formally here with us mods about concerns you might have, talk ideas or issues through with other BtP participants, or share your excitement!

Here are a few questions for you to consider. No problem if you don’t know the answers yet! These discussion posts are also a prompt for you to think about things you may not have already got around to:

• Have you settled on a topic for your Episode? Has the theme changed or developed?
• Have you recorded? How did you record? Are the results different to what you expected?
• Which side of the improvisation versus reading-from-prepared-material spectrum are you the most comfortable on?
• If you’re part of a group, how are you planning on distributing the work between you?
• What difficulties/hurdles are you foreseeing?
• Is there anything we can do to help, or anything you'd like us to know?

In the comments you can let us know how you're getting on, ask us questions, squee about your ideas, get cheerleading support from other participants, or anything else!

Hello! I'm partway through reecording interviews for my episode (including with other BtP participants), and it's going well! I'm not sure exactly what the final content is going to be yet, because some of that depends on the contents of the interviews. The biggest hurdle for me is going to be editing interview audio into my episode, but I have plenty of time to fit everything together :D

I made a spreadsheet with the data I need and was going to record thoughts tonight, but it turns out my math might be completely wrong. So I'm going to revisit the data and record over the weekend or early next week!
